WHAT'S ON THE  TABLE KICKOFF RECEPTION

What's On The Table is an event in Toronto that benefits The Stop Community Food Centre. The Stop Community Food Centre "strives to increase access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds health and community, and challenges inequality." To build momentum for the culminating event, members of Govan Brown attended The Stop & Stonegate's Special What's On The Table Kickoff Reception Tuesday, September 23rd. Govan Brown, a perennial sponsor for What's On the Table, has once again received a Silver Sponsorship

designation  for  this year's event. we have been involved with the organization since 2007 and in that time, we have helped raise thousands of dollars for the cause. What's On The Table resides in a long line of Govan Brown charity  initiatives directed at improving health through diet and food access. The event on Tuesday, September 23rd was a preview of the month-and-a-half long run of festivities benefiting the foundation. The main event, held on November 5th, will take place in downtown Toronto at Daniel's Spectrum and will feature many  of the fine  dining

options on display this past Tuesday. Along with gourmet food prepared by top-tier chefs were a myriad of exquisite wines from Ontario's own Niagara region. The gorgeous evening was complemented by warm September weather enabling the guests to enjoy the second floor tearrace on-looking the sunset-lit skyline. The positivity  of the occasion was reinforced by the fact that the space enjoyed throughout the evening was built by Govan Brown.
