Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis (CBRE) held their 5th annual Charity Golf Classic at Angus Glen Golf and Country Club on Thursday, June 19th, 2014. The event was well attended by Govan Brown employees who joined the other 300 golfers on the links. The annual tournament began in 2009 as a fundraiser benefiting the Donald K. Johnson Eye Centre at the Toronto Western  Hospital.  CBRE's intended

goal was to raise $5 million dollars in 5 years, and as of this year's tournament, they have raised over $5.2 million with this event alone having risen over $1.2 million. The Donald K. Johnson Eye Centre is home to Canada's largest vision health program, treating over 85,000 patients and performing over 4,200 surgeries each year in an attempt  to delay age-related blindness and other vision related illness-

es. The tournament was capped by an elegant dinner and a well-delivered speech by CBRE's own Greg Moore. Govan Brown and our employees were proud to take part in the day's festivities and donate to a good cause.
